This is a picture I drew for a friend of mine. She wouldn't let me buy anything for her so I just told her I'd draw her a picture of her choice. She simply said, "A mean, fiery dragon." After some struggle I finally got the kind of dragon she wanted. I didn't really have a concept for a background, except these colours, so that's what I went with.
The fire's blue-white near the source because when fire is really hot, it's blue and when it's even hotter it's white.
For some reason I always think fire dragons should have black scales.
